Prayer for Ourselves, Family, and Nation
Heavenly Father: During this global pandemic we come boldly to Your throne beseeching You on behalf of America, our beloved homeland. We repent of our personal and national sins, asking Your forgiveness for all the wrongs we have done. We desperately need Your mercy and divine intervention and humbly ask You to come and rescue and restore! We ask in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ for You to move mightily for us, our families, and our nation.
Here are prayers on our heart today:
• Contain and stop deadly diseases
• Bring economic recovery for businesses, families, nation
• Restore jobs to the unemployed
• Provide safety in streets, workplaces, homes, schools, etc.
• Guard us from those seeking to harm and instill fear
• Grant wisdom to the President, Congress, state governors, mayors, judges, and all civic leaders
• Protect our intelligence community, military, law enforcement
• Reveal any untrue news reporting by the media
• Heal the sick and suffering (name those you know)
• Comfort those grieving or depressed
• Guide voters to elect candidates with integrity and godly principles
• May God’s destiny for America be fulfilled and thousands come to Christ
• Prompt pastors to lead congregations to pray for our nation
• Remove fear, anxiety, panic
• Out of chaos, restore order, justice
• Out of hopelessness, bring hope
• Out of fear, give peace and calm
• Out of hardships, rescue
• Out of doubt, renew faith
