Prayer To Protect Our Nation:
Heavenly Father, please protect our nation from those who seek to cause harm and instill fear in the hearts of the people. Guard our ports and borders, our government buildings, military bases, all educational facilities, places of worship, public buildings, stadiums, financial institutions, the postal system, bridges, ship channels, water conduits, and all transportation systems. Protect our electrical and nuclear energy plants, gas/oil distribution centers, hospital and medical facilities, space centers and research facilities, law enforcement agencies, farmlands, cities and residential communities. Defend us against the spread of infectious diseases, germ warfare or cyber-attacks. Protect and grant wisdom to those who are charged with enforcing the law and maintaining order in all these venues. Lord, may the prayers of Your people help establish a shield over our nation that the enemy cannot penetrate. I give You great praise for answering this prayer, in Jesus’ name, Amen. ( 1)
Prayer Against Terrorism:
Lord, let any terrorist schemes against our cities and nation be exposed and stopped—absolutely thwarted –before they can be carried out. Help those who guard our nation to have wisdom and keep us safe as they do their job with diligence and watchfulness. Draw their attention to anything amiss that needs to be investigated and keep them from harm. Thank You, I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. (2)
Scriptures:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.
